Ovidy Karuru back in South Africa

Kaizer Chiefs’ new Zimbabwean signing Ovidy Karuru is back in South Africa and ready for action.

The 25-year-old midfielder had to leave the country last week and return to his homeland in order to apply for his work permit in South Africa ahead of making his Amakhosi debut.

Now he is back in SA and ready to make his impact felt should coach Stuart Baxter select him in the matchday squad.

Chiefs next match sees them in action on Wednesday night against Black Aces in a league encounter.

Karuru has joined Kaizer Chiefs on a three-year deal from Belgium outfit OH Leuven.
