The 25-year-old midfielder had to leave the country last week and return to his homeland in order to apply for his work permit in South Africa ahead of making his Amakhosi debut.

Now he is back in SA and ready to make his impact felt should coach Stuart Baxter select him in the matchday squad.

Karuru has joined Kaizer Chiefs on a three-year deal from Belgium outfit OH Leuven.
