The Zimbabwe Music Awards (ZIMA) have for the first time introduced an electronic entry form which can be accessed by those who would want to vote for their favourite musicians via computers or mobile phones.
ZIMA chairman and founder, Joseph Nyadzayo, confirmed the development.
The ZIMA awards ceremony will be held on the 4th of October at the Rainbow Towers in Harare, where the winners will also be announced.
The awards were last held in 2007.
This year’s edition of the awards will see media partners from the Recording Industry of South Africa, the organisers of the South African Music Awards (SAMA) joining hands with ZIMA.
