Five people died while 22 were injured when the bus they were travelling in was side swiped by a haulage truck that was carrying timber along the Chitungwiza-Dema road near the toll gate Tuesday night.

According to eye witnesses, the timber in the trailer was overlapping to the sides.
Police confirmed the accident and said the bus had 60 passengers.
Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads.
