Afro jazz sensation Pah Chihera left Zimbabwe for Dubai on Tuesday for her maiden international show. Born Pamhidzai Tracy Mbirimi, the songbird said she is happy with the appreciation her debut album has got, which saw her flying out.

“This is amazing. I’m so happy that with my first project I have got such recognition. It is encouraging to me as an artist to continue working hard,” she said.
Pah Chihera and her Afro Love band will perform in the Middle East on April 4, at a show dubbed the Unique Night for African Music.
“I will be leaving tomorrow (Tuesday) and the band will follow on March 31 and the show will be on April 4,” she said.
The youthful musician has been enjoying a purple patch in her career with songs such as Runonzi Rudo and Musavadadire Varume which made her a household name, so popular that her song had been made a caller ring back tone by some mobile network provider.
She is also expected to tour the United Kingdom in August.
