Kolo Toure offers to change name after fan’s tattoo blunder

A Liverpool fan got a tattoo of Kolo Toure’s name misspelt on his foot – so the player has offered to change his name to spare the supporter’s blushes. In one of the stranger stories to emerge this week, 20-year-old Dom Pearson tweeted a picture of the tattoo-gone-wrong.

The student had been so impressed with the new signing that he decided to pay tribute in ink, although he was on holiday at the time. He said he was “too p*ssed to notice” that the tattoo artist had spelt the Ivorian defender’s name ‘Kolo Touro’, providing much mirth for Twitter users.
