Picture: Policeman dressed in Zanu PF regalia beating up MDC-T youth

In this picture a policeman only identified as Sithole and who was wearing a Zanu PF t-shirt and cap is seen beating up an MDC-T youth Pasca Mhaka in Mahusvu, Chivhu today. The picture was sent by a Nehanda Radio Citizen Reporter.

Sithole was on duty and questioning Mhaka on a reported incident of an aspiring Zanu PF candidate who had his car stoned in the area. It was then that Mhaka asked Sithole why as a police officer he was wearing Zanu PF regalia while on duty. This did not go down well with Sithole who started beating up the youth.

A fellow MDC-T youth in a red t-shirt can only look on while his colleague is being beaten. Two other plainclothes policemen are also watching their colleague beating up the MDC-T youth.

Meanwhile in ward 8 of Chikomba East Zanu PF supporters Richard Mukorera, Pesi Mataruse and Admire Rusere/Bonzo are allegedly moving around at night looking for an MDC-T member known as Marara. They are using a car that belongs to Mike Bimha, the Zanu PF MP for Chikomba West.

It’s also alleged that Zanu PF supporters John Mushayi and Collen Nhokwara are destroying MDC-T posters in the area.
