Businesses and market stalls in the satellite town of Chitungwiza in Zimbabwe were forcibly shut down on Tuesday as Zanu PF activists forced residents to attend President Robert Mugabe’s rally at the nearby Chibuku Stadium.
In this picture captured by a Nehanda Radio Citizen Reporter, empty market stalls in Zengeza can be seen after the owners were told to shut down or face action. We received similar complaints in the run up to Mugabe’s rally in Marondera on Monday.
