HARARE – A newly promoted police officer reportedly dumped his family to cohabit with a ‘small house’.

Sergeant Shepherd Gwindi (27) based at Ordinance Stores, reportedly left his family sometime in November last year acquiring a loan to cohabit with a small house believed to be a cop in Budiriro.
It is a COPS LOVE TRIANGLE as Shepherd left his wife, Faith Gwindi (28), who is also a cop to cohabit with another cop raising eyebrows who will police the police.
It is said Shepherd left home following a misunderstanding with Faith over the medication of their 2 year old son who is physically challenged. Faith confirmed the misunderstanding led to Gwindi’s exit.
“I do not know how it reached the press but I blame myself for sending insulting messages to him after he refused to stand with me in treating our child who is physically challenged,” said Faith.
“He left the family last year in November and since that time I do not know where he is staying and he does not want to answer my calls. What I remember is that in June last year we agreed to take the child for medication and he decided to take his brother to Road Port who was going to South Africa.
“After several calls he later sent a text message saying he was in Rugare where he was seeing his friend and that did not go well me. I sent an insulting message in reply and he took advantage of that message accusing me of not respecting him.
“On the 29th of November he packed all his belongings and left and has never come back until now; I do not know his whereabouts. I am looking after the child and he is reported to be living lavishly with prostitutes after he successfully applied for a $1500 loan.
“We are legally married and I am still tied by Marriage Act so I cannot find a new husband. He is nowhere to be seen, it is very disturbing. It is better for him to be open than leaving me in such a quagmire day in day out,” said Faith shedding tears.
Contacted for comments Gwindi threatened H-Metro over the story before hanging up the phone.
“Who told you about that story? I do not want anyone to speak about my private life with the Press and remember I am a police officer we are not allowed to speak to the Press,” said Gwindi.
Gwindi also threatened to take action against whoever leaked the story,
“Whoever told you about the story is going to face the music together with you if that story is published watch out! Do not call on my number again and I am sure you know your Journalism ethics well,” said Gwindi before hanging the phone.
Gwindi got married to Faith 2008 before tying the knot at Harare Magistrate Court in 2011. H Metro
