“I come from Kana-Gokwe and our useless MP Busy Ngwenya (Zanu PF) has not brought any development since he was elected. The road that links Nkayi and Gokwe is a dusty road that is in a terrible state.

Most buses have since stopped plying the route. Our MP is a monumental failure who failed even to finish building the mortuary. He only put foundation with the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) money and neglected the project.”

Slavery at Fredsab 

“I have worked for a museyamwa company by the name of Fredsab that is owned by Fidelis Goredema.

The guy is cruel and is totally heartless. You work and are not paid. There has been a high staff turnover because of his selfishness and greed. The few people who have managed to stay in the company are his relatives.

The company does not contribute anything to the nec, nssa, zimra he just operates the museyamwa way, no pension schemes or anything. He fires and hires like he is buying bread. “I’m from Kezi in Mat South. We have a very useless MP from MDC-T, Gabriel Ndebele who is enriching himself at the expense of the people who voted him into power. There is no improvement in our area except that he has built himself a big store for himself and his family.

Kids sit under tress at our primary school which is about 5k from his home.

He used to ride a bicycle but now he is driving an Isuzu twin cab. Not that we care what he is driving or what he owns but if he can look after people who voted him into power first. Can’t wait for the elections to come so that we can replace him.”

Corruption at VID Zvishavane

Voter Registration deliberate delays 

“Just imagine, all these people never made it in registering to vote on the 19th of May at Seke 4 High School.

Chaos started when they were told they couldn’t be helped anymore cause the deadline couldn’t be extended. We just hoping that the new voter registration exercise will make sure all people who want to register can do so without hindrance.”

Corruption in Karoi

“Thanks for the great job you are doing for our nation. Please may you post this for the people of Karoi.

There is organised corruption at Chinhoyi-Karoi labour offices. The officers here are receiving bribes from companies so that labour disputes are not resolved in accordance with the law of the land but to the interests of oppressive employers.

Of notable concern is how Chinhoyi and Karoi labour offices are handling disputes between a company called COTTZIM and its employees. I sincerely invite the Ministry of Labour authorities, anti-corruption team and all interested parties to look into this issue without delay.

COTTZIM has a record of exploiting its workers by not paying them the gazzeted wages and salaries; not paying any overtime worked; not paying any housing, transport or any other approved allowances; not giving protective clothing to their employees; not paying workers on time and also illegally terminating their workers’ contracts.

This is witnessed by the number of dispute cases reported to the Ministry of Labour Karoi for resolution-though not resolved asi kungotsikwa tsikwa chete.

It’s just unfortunate for the aggrieved worker that G. Musaniwa (labour officer Karoi) is on COTTZIM payroll to help oppress the defenceless and voiceless worker uku achiguta dumbu rake vashandi veCOTTZIM nemhuri dzavo vachidya nhoko dzezvironda.

The deal is between G. Musaniwa of labour (+263775068883) and Shingie Madiye of COTTZIM (+263773911824). The labour offices either delay the cases unreasonably, illegally set aside or change submissions to suit the interests of COTTZIM.

COTTZIM decides whether or not to attend the hearings and at what time with nobody questioning them. They do as they please-ndivo vanototonga labour office. May the people of Zimbabwe call them and ask them kuti sei vachidiridzira madzinde erugare rwavo nemisodzi yevamwe.

Responsible authorities please look into this matter of urgency to ensure justice prevails at Chinhoyi-Karoi labour offices.”

Gabriel Shumba at our restaurant in Braamfontein

It was an honour having Advocate Gabriel Shumba and his collegues having lunch at our restaurant in Braamfontein Johannesburg today, it was my first time to meet the man who has done so much for the Zimbabwean community especially in South Africa and on behalf of The Rainbow Kraal Restaurant I just want to say thank you Sir .

One thing I noticed is the man is so humble for his status and I guess that’s why he is such an inspiration to so many , he had his Sadza and Maguru and his collegues had sadza nehuku yechibhoyi , thank you again and God bless .
