“Am at Mount Pleasant district offices. Word is, since 8 am, they served only two people. Lots of people went back. I got here at 11 am, queue started to be served around half past. hoping they don’t serve only two people again!
Everyone hoping they don’t close for lunch! How will people be able to register and still make it back to work in time with this laid back attitude towards work? They are still asking for letter from landlord to accompany proof of residence, in the event that the bill isn’t in one`s name!
An officer came out and declares handifunge kuti vanhu vese ava vangapere nhasi there were only 40 people in the queue! he has now taken twenty forms to serve! this is ridiculous and borders on insane.
Apa he ended up not serving the twenty. Most people went back. This is appalling. A well orchestrated plan I suspect. To frustrate the urban voting people. And I hear that Zanu PF is calling people to go and register. Most of the people in the queue are saying this. Will send you an audio clip. Maybe two uzvinzwirewo wega.”

I think our 3 GPA signatories are faking that they want peace in the next elections. Mugabe has got his thugs who have killed masses in 2008, they were never arrested. Tsvangirai and Mutambara/Ncube never made enough strides to get these thugs to book. He is not even doing enough about Maisiri’s death but he was at the funeral. We are suffering because of the reluctance of these people to restore our freedoms.

To speak is human but to speak up is a sign of citizenship. The electorate should be careful of politicians who would want to make them political condoms, only to be used ,abused and discarded. Some politicians have successfully turned themselves into monsters and beasts who will trample all human and humane laws underfoot amid senseless harassment, torture and extermination of those who are not in support of them. Please fellow Zimbos shun any violent activities and when we finally get to vote lets do so peacefully.

Huyipi hwe Zanu PF. Now they are suppressing students on Presidential Scholarship here in South Africa. Recently Chris Mushowe was at Fort Hare East London and Alice telling students that they will be ferried home and vote for Mugabe, otherwise they will be expelled. The Zanu PF gospel is being preached in every meeting, and whoever talks or plays nevanhu ve MDC gets expelled. ASIJIKI

@Bulawayo Poly it is a crisis. Its been a lot of work for both resident and non-resident students sleeping in the cue for registration. But the crew from accounts never adjusted but they closed and opened as usual. Life is hard for most of the students. The just appointed MABASA, is making life difficult for students. Now they are refusing the cadet programme of which students can’t afford the fees.

My young brother in Glen View 8 tells me they just had the first drop from a water tap today after a dry 3-week period! What pains me is that we send hard earned money home (Zimbabwe) to help sustain our families and part of that money is used to pay ana ZESA & these councils.
Under normal circumstances fine but now we have a situation where we just pay but the service is non-existent! Why can’t citizens just say enough is enough no more payments till satisfactory services are restored! What pains me most is the señior guys in these entities are paying themselves extra ordinary salaries, buy big vehicles (Amorak) and most of them are running their own businesses during work time and using company resources!!
In short, whether one is in the diaspora or at home, we are helping these fat cats to have a lavish life by paying these levies without the return services…. Just like we stopped paying ZBC licenses now its time for ZESA and councils to know that citizens are the paymasters and they dictate how their affairs must be run!!
