Zimbabwean actress Danai Gurira will feature in the third season of popular US TV series The Walking Dead. She will play Michonne, a popular character in the comic book series. The character first appeared in the season 2 finale and was played by a stand-in.
Now our Gurira will take up the role going forward. Not only that, we get to see what Gurira looks like with hair.
Danai is an award-winning actress and playwright. She was behind the hugely popular In the Continuum. She has also made guest appearances on other popular TV shows such as Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Lie To Me, Treme among others.
We only recently started watching the series and we can’t wait to see Gurira in season 3. Three Man on a Boat
