The distraught Teclar (31) — who amassed zero country votes, making her the worst performing Zimbabwean housemate since the launch of the show in 2003 — shied away from cameras and refused to talk to the Press.

She tried to evade photographers, but was cornered before jumping into a car and speeding off from the Harare International Airport. There was no welcoming crowd serve for a few of her relatives. It wasn’t a homecoming fit for the royal she passed herself to be in her imaginary Kingdom of Zamunda.

She made history by becoming the first Zimbabwean housemate to last only seven days of the 91 days of the show. Until this season, all Zimbabwean housemates had lasted at least the first month of the show. The worst performance had been by Kristal Culverwell who lasted 49 days in the 2009 season dubbed “Big Brother Africa: The Revolution.”

Oddly enough, Teclar’s performance was the exact opposite of her 21-year old step sister and partner in the game Maneta who bagged eight country votes, including Zimbabwe. Zimbabweans will now pin their hopes on Maneta and Roki, who is holding his own with his sense of humour, charisma and of course carefree attitude.
