CIO tried to push Locadia down PM’s throat

By Tambanavo Chamanyawi

There is an ugly hand propelling with the supposed marriage of the MDC President Morgan Tsvangirai to Locadia Tembo. The bloody hand is beginning to fail to completely conceal itself.

Locadia Karimatsenga Tembo staged a spectacular ambush of Tsvangirai’s rural home where she paraded herself as the new muroora.

The fast moving drama that has been unfolding this week is indicating towards one conclusion. Tsvangirai is under siege.  Only a fool will fail to acknowledge that the MDC boss was trapped and Locadia is a well oiled snare.

The heavy duty sting operation is well coordinated, sustained, calculated and designed to contaminate the persona of Morgan Tsvangirai. Some of us picked a foul smell when the family members of Locadia went to the hilltops to proclaim that they have a son-in-law in the form of the Prime Minister.

This was despite Tsvangirai’s insistence that he was not marrying the Zanu PF Pharisee. Damage payments were announced as lobola by the state media. All the sources of the stories are Zanu PF protagonists and Locadia family members.

As we were still trying to come to terms with what was happening, Locadia did the unthinkable. She staged a spectacular ambush of Tsvangirai’s rural home where she paraded herself as the new muroora.

The old woman, Tsvangirai’s mother was taken off-balance. As per our shona culture the unsuspecting Mbuya Tsvangirai invited ‘invaders’ in her home. This is in line the culture of chivanhu which accommodates even unwanted visitors.

It is taboo to chase visitors. Even witches and riff raff characters are immune to harassment if they turn-up at one’s rural homestead. Also Mbuya Tsvangirai could not have known what was happening as her son was in South Africa, who also never expected Locadia to pull a fast one in him.

When the ‘rich’ muroora from the Shake-shake building pitched uninvited, unannounced and unexpected she did so in tow with an entourage of Zimpapers reporters and photographers?

Why? It is not difficult to understand why she did so? I am sure by now everyone has managed to balance the political equation. Herald’s columnist Nathaniel Manheru aka Gorge Charamba had details of the nicodimus flight before ‘The first lady in waiting’ parachuted herself to Buhera.

The following morning The Herald carried a scoop with pictures of muroora sweeping the yard of Tsvangirai’s Buhera home. Another picture depicted her proudly walking side by side with ‘vamwene.’

Details are now emerging that the wealthy commodity broker splashed and shuffled the green buck in Buhera. Can any one assist me to understand why any genuine woman would go to such heights? The equation here is easy to read.  Anyone who doesn’t have an answer as to Locadia resorted to cremation power to gain acceptance is not genuine.

It has just emerged that the former wife of Ben Mucheche, took a three day camp at the gate of Tsvangirai’s Strataven Home in Harare demanding the throne left by the late and respected Amai Susan Tsvangirai.

Under normal circumstances why would such a rich woman desperately exhibit such a penchant to be married to a man who has given her his back? Whose interests is she serving? This is also one easy question to answer.

What is surfacing now is that the woman threatened to kill herself if Tsvangirai maintains distance from her. This kind of conduct is expected from a dejected poor 17 years old school girl impregnated by a 20 year old boy.

Not from a rich and divorced 39 year old Locadia, who is a mother of a 16 year old boy. What could be the rational for doing that? What is the objective? Of course she is not insane or desperate for a marriage, but playing a game that is being stage-managed from Kaguvi house’s red-brick building.

There is no doubt that she has more tomfoolery in her sleeves. The sole objective of these unfolding ugly dramas is to inflict fatal blows on the credibility of the future President of Zimbabwe.

It is clear that we shall be witnessing more earth-shattering shenanigans as Zanu PF spooks go full steam on what they know best as the ailing regime engages its last desperate gear to avoid surrendering power to Morgan next year.

The political play field here is tricky and murky. It is alternating between darkness and light. It is difficult to identify the players in this issue. Neither could one read the players’ cards as everyone is keeping cards to their chests. Locadia is not saying anything to anyone. Her spokespeople are Zanu PF and her Parliamentary sister.

Tsvangirai is giving half-baked answers through his Spokesman Luke Tamborinyoka. Theresa Makone, iye muparanzongo is speaking with a split mouth. Makone came out openly that she introduced Locadia to Tsvangirai, but denied any responsibility of what followed thereafter.

Theresa maintained that she has Ian’s zip to watch and not Tsvangirai’s. In an interview with SW Radio Africa’s Lance Guma, Theresa mouthed what sounds like prepared answers that were well rehearsed. She however could not dispel the widely held view that she is desperately trying to maintain a hold on Tsvangirai’s flesh.

Makone has always made headlines for wrong reasons. She shocked MDC supporters when she stormed Mbare police station to demand the release of the son of Zanu PF strongman Dydimus Mutasa. One question that keeps on propping up: Is Makone being handled from Kaguvi building or Harvest house?

But what remains is that Morgiza, as he is known in MDC circles is not stoppable anymore. All tricks are too late. He is the current sole hope of the people of Zimbabwe.
