Veteran striker Luphahla dating school girl

VETERAN CAPS United speedy forward Joel Luphahla likes to catch them young, if allegations reaching H Metro are anything to go by. He has stopped dashing after the ball with his lanky legs and instead he has started dashing after spring chickens in the form of tender young girls in what has become a despicable new area of his “expertise” H-Metro can reveal!

The Green Machine forward likes girls who are still ‘green behind the ears’, so it seems. The footie star is alleged to be cheating on his wife with a SCHOOL GIRL. He has become a cradle snatcher luring the girl when she has barely stopped suckling from her mother’s breast!

He has also admitted to ‘lurking’ in the maternity ward and snatching the youthful one … but he has made it a point to say it was a misguided mistake and lapse in judgement that he regrets. “Well, my man mistakes do happen in life you know that. “I am very committed to my wife and kids but yes I know that girl.”

The school girl was only identified as Tatenda and she is studying towards her A Levels at Hillgrade College located along Park Street. While his wife was lovingly waiting for her hubby at their Sentosa house, H-Metro spotted Luphahla busy loving it up with the young lass at the Harare City Council library last Tuesday afternoon where he had bought her a delectable lunch (from Nandos to be more precise).

He was driving a BMW with South African registration plates and was clad in a blue top and Blue jeans which were giving him the illusion of youth it seems. The schoolgirl Tatenda was clad in a purple top and blue jeans and she had to temporarily stop studying to meet her soccer star lover. Luphahla was in the company of two of his teammates and after a romantic chat with Tatenda he dropped his Nandos package and drove off.

Unknown to the girl, H-Metro was undercover making their way from poking their nose at the courts and struck a conversation with her as she approached the library entrance. In the conversation she conceded that she was INDEED dating the speedy striker. “Ehe ndivo vatinomhanya navo (yes he is the one).

“It’s my time to milk them of their money, tozoidyira kupi?” bragged Tatenda who was getting ready to munch the mouth watering lunch from her footie lover. H-Metro is in possession of the couple’s pictures at the scene, although, they came out a little bit hazy due to a technical glitch that befell the camera’s long lense. Luphahla’s team mates who spoke to H-Metro on condition of anonymity also confirmed that he was involved in a relationship with Tatenda.

They however, said that she sometimes goes on dates with him in her school uniform. “Yes, we know the Tatenda girl; she sometimes visits him wearing her school uniform. “But Luphahla is very careful because he is terrified of his wife who is believed to be no-nonsense woman and everyone in the team knows about that,” revealed the team mate.

When contacted for comment Luphahla could not categorically state his position. He could neither confirm nor deny the allegations but he acknowledged that he knew Tatenda but they were just friends. But he said he was not having SEX with the schoolgirl! His response was a clear insinuation that he might be dating his puppy eyed fan.

“She is just a friend and big fan and in the day in question she had just asked me to buy her lunch otherwise its no big deal,” said Luphahla. “Even if you check my history, I have never been involved in such scandalous stories, I am a family man and I also have an obligation to mentor the youngsters at Caps United. “Vapfanha vakanzwa nyaya dzakadai vanoti chii? (What would the youngsters think if they heard stories like this),” added Luphahla who looked dejected.

Tatenda’s schoolmates said that her relationship with Luphahla was an open secret. “Everyone knows about that relationship because she even brags about it,” said one student who was also at the library. However, although Luphahla claimed that he had a squeaky clean image; H-Metro established that he once grabbed headlines for not so pious deeds.

Last year, he was involved in the centre of a squabble involving the custody of a 6-month-old baby whose mother died after secretly marrying another man. Luphahla attended the funeral and allegedly had a physical confrontation with the husband, although he denied the shenanigan. “I do not want to say it was a fight, but a misunderstanding over the late woman and the paternity of her child.

“I innocently went to the funeral not knowing that she was married and when I got there an argument ensued between me and the husband who I now understand is based in Canada,” Luphahla was then quoted as saying. The latest allegations put a strong dent on Luphahla’s career especially when he is currently struggling to secure a first team jersey after a career threatening injury. H Metro
