Zimbabwe’s Home Affairs Minister Theresa Makone reportedly visited Nigerian prophet TB Joshua of The Synagogue Church of All Nations and sought help in retaining her MDC-T post during the congress set for May.
Makone is set to battle it out with bitter old rival Lucia Matibenga for the right to be Chairperson of the Women’s Assembly. Speaking to the Zimbabwe Standard newspaper Makone said “Yes, I went to Lagos to see TB Joshua and I brought with me some holy water for healing for myself and my family.”
During a recent meeting she was seen distributing the ‘holy waters’ and told those present it would give them luck. “I gave it to other members because from the airport I went straight to the meeting and when they realised that I was from Nigeria some asked me to share with them the water,” she said.
