Sibusiso Ncube crowned Miss Zim-SA 2010

Twenty-three year old Office Administrator Sibusiso Ncube was crowned the inaugural Miss Zim-SA last Saturday on the 11th December at a glittering ceremony at the Safari International Hotel in Berea, Johannesburg.

First Princess went to Beauty Therapist Duduzile Phakathi, and 2nd Princess was crowd favourite Shyleen Ntokozo Sibanda. The event was graced by Miss Zimbabwe 2009, Vanessa Sibanda, also known “Queen Vanessa”.

Providing the entertainment were Zimbabwean groups Achuzi, Go Boyz, Nox Guni, Maskiri, and Hip Hop new kid on the block Vulga, who kept the crowd on their feet.

Speaking at the vent, Guest of Honour, Ms Joyce Dube of the Zimbabwean Charity SAWIMA, pleaded with the girls to take care of themselves and to represent Zimbabwe as true “brand Zimbabwe” ambassadors.

The Executive Director of the Miss Zimbabwe Pageant Company Thamsanqa Ncube congratulated the winners and promised that the event will be back next year, bigger and better.
