Twenty-year old Nadia Gori the recently crowned Miss Tourism Bulawayo has revealed that she is still a virgin and blasted ‘sugar daddies’ who target models and young girls like herself. Nadia was last Friday crowned the regional finalist at a colourful event held at the Bulawayo Rainbow hotel.

“Young girls must not be enticed by these old men with money. They must learn to have self-respect and value their bodies. These sugar daddies, give you money — and the virus (HIV)” she warned.

In the run up to the Miss Tourism Bulawayo contest last week there was wild speculation that the winner had already been selected in advance after a group of wealthy businessmen allegedly paid money to fix the result. Organisers dismissed the allegations as mere pub talk.

On a more sombre note it was reported that soon after her crowning moment Nadia went to a cemetery and left the queen’s bouquet on her father’s grave. It’s said she wanted her late father who died when she was still a kid to guide her during her reign.

Over the weekend three Miss Tourism Zimbabwe regional finals were held and nine lucky girls were given golden tickets to the MTZ finale. The girls will represent their various provinces next year for the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe finale and one lucky winner will replace reigning queen, Samantha Tshuma.
