Usher says Gamu should get second chance

American R&B singing sensation Usher Raymond has joined a growing chorus of worldwide support for axed X Factor singer Gamu Nhengu from Zimbabwe saying ‘I hope she gets another chance.’
Usher made the remarks shortly before performing on the ITV talent show this weekend. Gamu was controversially axed from the show by Judge Cheryl Cole who instead chose two singers who were not up to scratch.
Later it was revealed her mum, Nokuthula Ngazana’s visa had expired, and that Cheryl had been pressured by show bosses to axe the Zimbabwean teenager. The UK Home Office has also asked the family to go back to Zimbabwe ‘voluntarily’.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror Usher said ‘Everyone deserves a chance. It’s a horrible situation if she has to be sent back, but hopefully they can work something out so she’ll be able to achieve her dreams as a recording artist one day.”
