Mangoma addresses renewal group in Masvingo (minutes leaked)
MASVINGO – Rebels within the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) who are plotting the ouster of party president Morgan Tsvangirai met in Gutu District (Masvingo Province) on Saturday to plot the way forward and leaked minutes of the meeting suggest they are already fighting amongst each other.
In the meeting the rebels accused former Masvingo Central MP and Provincial Secretary Tongai Matutu of not coming out clearly to declare his loyalty to the cause and warned him he will not get a meaningful post if the coup plot succeeds.
Nehanda Radio publishes the following ‘unedited’ blow-by-blow account of what allegedly happened during the meeting paHams. The minutes have been supplied to us by a source who was present and includes his own analysis of events.

– Last Friday Wikleaf, Trust, Oliver Chirume and some unidentified 2 men were seen at Gutu West organisor Johanes Chikwava’s house in Shashe village
-of the total people attending Mangoma meeting 10 were wife and members of Chirume family
-Gutu Central losing Candidate Nhemachena was strongly defended by Chitando casting doubts on his loyalty?
-Mudavanhu, Oliver and Chitando took turns to question the loyalty of Matutu and blamed him for not coming out in the open…
– they gave him an ultimatum otherwise they will not offer him a meaningful post!!!!!
– majority people who attended were people who are not in the party structures and some expelled rebels and mbavha like Toperesu and Fabiano Mangombe and Chitsa..
– Some were youth who wanted to understand who these people are and their agenda

– if they come back…half of the people will not return to his meeting.

– All organisers were promised to be paid resoundingly if they manage to lure members of up 150 per Branch..
– a fee of $100 per Branch register was pegged.
