Six soldiers, including a lieutenant, have been arrested for allegedly firing an AK 47 assault rifle towards four villagers who had confronted them on why they were assaulting defenceless people they came across during a patrol, killing one on the spot.

Zhong Zhongyi (60), a director of Fools Investments in Hope Fountain, appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Mr Shepherd Mjanja facing assault charges.
