Dynamos have received a major boost ahead of their Caf Champions League trip to Mochudi Center Chiefs with the return from injury of forward Simba Sithole and midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike.

The duo is expected to be in coach Callisto Pasuwa’s team that leaves for Botswana by road on Thursday for Sunday’s preliminary round second leg. Sithole was nursing his tendon which inflamed at the Chan tournament while Rusike’s hamstring has healed after they sat out the first leg.

Sithole’s return could ease Pasuwa’s striking worries after Washington Pakamisa fluffed chance after chance during the first leg. Rusike is likely to make his competitive debut since joining Dynamos from Ajax Cape Town this off-season and has been impressive in friendly matches.

Team manager Richard Chihoro said the duo has been involved in full training this week.

“Of course it is good news that we now have these boys fit as they have been training with the rest of the guys. That is an advantage to the coach as he can selected from a large pool. Every technical team always wants to work with a full complement of players,” Chihoro said.

Ronald Chitiyo who received as knock on the ankle last Sunday has also recovered and is available for selection. SuperSport.com
