Ba Shupi short-listed for global concert
Urban grooves artist Ba Shupi’s star continues to shine after he was short-listed to perform at a global concert dubbed the Global Battle of the Bands.
Ba Shupi stands a chance to perform live with his band in Rome, Italy should he attain the required votes to be part of the concert.
He is the only African artist on the list. The voting process is being conducted through Facebook and his fans only need to like a link on his Facebook page, vote Ba Shupi to go to Rome.
“Ba Shupi stands a chance to represent the country at the global concert to be held in Rome, Italy. Only three bands are going to perform and at the moment a number of bands across the world have been short-listed.
“So what we are saying to our fans is that we need your support, vote for us on Facebook,” said Ba Shupi’s management in a statement.
“To vote simply go on Facebook and click a link on Ba Shupi’s page which will take you to the Hard Rock Rising 2014, Battle of the Bands where you Vote by downloading Ba Shupi’s track and they will count it as a vote. You can also share the link on your page so as others can vote.
“There is also a chance to vote through email and for those in countries like South African, UK, Ireland, USA and Canada can go to any hard Rock Rising Café near you and check in with your smart phone and they will court it as a vote.
The voting ends February 17 and bands that win will go to perform in Rome at a date to be announced,” added the management. The star entertainer will this Sunday hold a concert at the Book Café aimed at raising awareness to the fans.
