The Hills Luxury Golf Course is edging closer to completion, with developers confirming that the first official tee-off is scheduled for February next year.
A progress update on the project shows that all 18 holes have now been shaped, while nine holes have already been planted.
The remaining planting work is expected to be completed within the coming weeks as the course enters a critical growing phase aimed at bringing fairways and greens up to international standards.
Management says the course should be playable before the end of the first quarter of next year, allowing golfers an early opportunity to experience the new facility.

Interest in the development is already growing, with the driving range attracting increasing numbers of visitors. Officials say many casual users have subsequently signed up for memberships, reflecting growing anticipation ahead of the official opening.
WestProp Holdings chief executive Ken Sharpe said the project is intended to position Zimbabwe as a competitive golfing destination while showcasing the country’s capacity to deliver world-class sporting infrastructure.
“The Hills is more than a golf course. It is a statement of Zimbabwe’s ability to deliver world-class sporting facilities,” said Sharpe.
“We are creating a destination that will attract both local players and international visitors, strengthening golf tourism and showcasing our country’s potential.”

Sharpe said the development forms part of a broader vision to promote Zimbabwe’s golf tourism offering by linking premier golfing destinations across the country.
“Our aim is to position Zimbabwe as a premier golfing destination, where visitors can play not only in Harare but also in Bulawayo, Victoria Falls, Nyanga, Vumba, Mutare and Chiredzi. The Hills completes this circuit, offering golfers a truly unique experience,” he said.
Beyond golf, the estate is expected to offer a range of sporting and recreational facilities including swimming, tennis, padel and five-a-side football.
Industry partners have also expressed confidence in the project’s potential to strengthen Harare’s status as a sporting destination. The estate’s location near the National Sports Stadium and National Hockey Stadium has been cited as one of its strategic advantages.
With construction entering its final stages, The Hills is being positioned as one of Zimbabwe’s most ambitious leisure and sporting developments, with developers hoping it will attract both domestic enthusiasts and international visitors seeking a premium golfing experience.
