ZimLinkUp, the flagship cultural event of the Zimbabwean diaspora in the UK, is set to return with its most ambitious edition yet, as organisers unveil an expanded experience that fuses music, community, and celebration on an unprecedented scale.

This year’s event will take place at The New Bingley Hall, a significant upgrade from previous venues. With a capacity of up to 4,000 attendees, the move signals a clear step forward for the brand, offering improved crowd flow, increased space, and enhanced production potential.

For the first time, ZimLinkUp will host both its major events at a single location. The main concert is scheduled for Saturday, 3 May, while the newly reimagined day party will take place on Sunday, 2 May.

Organisers have introduced an outdoor concept for the day party, transforming the venue’s large car park into a vibrant social hub.

A marquee will be installed to create an open-air barbecue-style experience, combining food, music, and networking in a relaxed, festival-like atmosphere.

At the heart of the weekend is a powerful lineup featuring ten artists from across the Zimbabwean music scene.

Headliners include Killer T, Saintfloew, and Freeman HKD, alongside fan favourites such as Shashl and Chillmaster. The bill is rounded out by Jnr Spragga, Hwinza, Delroy Shewe, Decibel, and Raymer.

Adding to the excitement is the inclusion of emerging UK-based talent through the ZimLinkUp Rising Star competition.

This year’s winner, Likkle Art, secured victory with over 300 public votes — a strong indication of growing grassroots support. His addition to the lineup underscores the event’s commitment to nurturing diaspora talent alongside established names.

Backed by sponsors WorldRemit and Diaspora Insurance, ZimLinkUp continues to strengthen its ties to the global Zimbabwean community. These partnerships reflect not only financial backing but also the cultural and economic connections that underpin the diaspora experience.

Organisers describe the 2026 edition as a celebration of growth, culture, and unity. With a larger venue, an expanded lineup, and the introduction of a dynamic outdoor day party, ZimLinkUp is positioning itself as one of the most exciting Zimbabwean diaspora events worldwide.

As anticipation builds, one thing is clear: ZimLinkUp 2026 is not just an event — it is a statement of scale, identity, and cultural pride.
