Simba Bhora name Mandla Mpofu as their new head coach, replacing Luphahla
SHAMVA – Former Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Simba Bhora have announced the appointment of Mandla “Lulu” Mpofu as their new head coach, replacing Joel Luphahla, who has joined FC Platinum.
Mpofu, a former Highlanders coach, arrives from Botswana Premier League side Tafic FC.
He is widely experienced in the region, having spent much of his coaching career in Botswana with stints at Masitaoka FC, Sua Flamingoes and Nico United.
Simba Bhora, nicknamed “Go Buju Go,” was founded in 2008 to promote football development in Mashonaland Central province, with a particular focus on the Shamva community.
The clubs plays its home matches at the Wadzanai Stadium in Shamva.
