Jah Prayzah unleashes “The Shutdown” at HICC in Harare to seal global tour
HARARE – Gateway Stream Media, in partnership with JP Entertainment, has announced that Jah Prayzah will wrap up his global “Ndini Mukudzeyi World Tour” with a major concert at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on 29 November 2025.
The event, dubbed The Shutdown, marks the final performance of the award-winning musician’s world tour, which has taken him across several continents throughout 2025.
The tour has showcased Jah Prayzah’s latest album, Ndini Mukudzeyi, and cemented his footprint on the international music landscape.
Jah Prayzah launched the album on 3 May 2025 at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare before appearing at the Bira Rembira International Festival.
The tour then expanded internationally, beginning with a sold-out show at The Hangar in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, on 25 May.
In July, the artist performed in Toronto, Canada, drawing enthusiastic support from fans in North America. The African leg of the tour followed, with a performance at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg on 15 November.
The upcoming HICC show is expected to be a high-profile finale.
Gateway Stream Media Manager Elton Kurima said the venue offers a fitting conclusion to a successful global run. He described HICC as Zimbabwe’s premier performance space, known for its world-class sound, lighting and capacity to host up to 4,500 attendees.
Kurima said the final concert will celebrate the successful album rollout and the year-long international journey that followed.
“HICC, being the last on the line-up, serves as a place to celebrate the successful launch of Jah Prayzah’s album and the seamless World Tour he embarked on throughout the year since the launch,” Kurima said.
“What sets this concert apart from the rest of the shows for the Ndini Mukudzeyi Album is the venue. The Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) is Zimbabwe’s premier concert venue, offering world-class sound, lighting, and flexible space for up to 4,500 guests.
“HICC combines prestige, convenience, and scale, making it the ultimate destination for unforgettable live performances and international entertainment experiences.”
Demand for the event has been strong, with Phase 1 tickets already sold out. Phase 2 tickets are now available at Med Orange Pharmacies, Booties Pharmacies, the Gateway Stream booth at Rainbow Towers Hotel, and The New Ambassador Hotel.
Tickets can also be purchased online via events.gatewaystream.com. Phase 2 General Access tickets cost US$20, while VIP Access is priced at US$50.
Gateway Stream Media, a subsidiary of Rainbow Tourism Group, has played a significant role in promoting local artists and creating commercial opportunities for Zimbabwean talent.
Since its launch in 2020, the platform has collaborated with several artists and organised major shows, including Jah Prayzah’s Maita Baba album launch, the Redefined Show, Ada Ehi gospel performance, the Harare leg of the City to City show and the Nubian Notes Concert.
The company has previously won the NAMA Promoter of the Year Award (2022) and the Twalumba Award for Best Achievement in Innovation.
The Shutdown concert is expected to draw thousands of music fans as Jah Prayzah concludes one of his most significant tours to date.
