RICHARDS BAY – After spending months without a club following his departure from Golden Arrows, reportedly after a misunderstanding with coach Manqoba Mngqithi, Knox Mutizwa reminded football fans that he is still a lethal striker when given the chance.

The recent Richards Bay signing was the hero of the day for the club, grabbing a brace as they beat Chippa United 4-1, knocking them out of the Carling Black Label Cup on Sunday.

Mutizwa opened his account in the 7th minute, rising highest in the box to head home from a corner and double Richards Bay’s lead after Ntlonelo Bomelo had scored in the 5th minute.
