FLORIDA – Brooke Hogan, daughter of the wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, will not receive anything from his estate — by her own request.
Sources told TMZ that Brooke asked to be removed from her father’s will as early as 2023, citing mistrust of the people around him and a desire to avoid posthumous financial disputes.
Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died last week at age 71.
According to insiders, Brooke’s decision stemmed from a desire to protect her father rather than benefit from his estate. Her husband, former NHL player Steve Oleksy, backed the move in an interview with US Weekly.
“I believe my wife upheld her dad’s best interests even after his death,” Oleksy said.
“That money does not represent accomplishments in the ring — the majority of it came at the expense of my wife’s dignity.”
He referenced past public controversies involving Hogan, including derogatory comments and leaked transcripts from a sex tape scandal that affected Brooke personally.
“The true victims never received a direct apology,” Oleksy added, “and despite the life-altering embarrassment, they never received or asked for compensation.”
In a lengthy Instagram post this week, Brooke said she and Oleksy had relocated to Florida to be closer to her father during his health struggles, but that their relationship had fractured in recent years.
“We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn’t want me at surgeries,” she wrote. “It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through.”
Brooke described an emotional withdrawal that began two years ago. “During the last two years, I had to step away to protect my heart,” she said.
