Secondary schools will compete in the Under-15, Under-17, and Under-20 categories.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, Herentals FC Secretary General and spokesperson for the event, Fainos Madhumbu, highlighted the importance of the competition as well as its legacy.

“Our Group CEO, Honourable Innocent Benza, has always been a strong supporter of sport. These tournaments date back to 2009, when we hosted our first event at George Stark in Mbare.

“Since then, we have continued to organise similar events annually across the country,” said Madhumbu.

Madhumbu highlighted the purpose behind the initiative.

“By providing a platform for our boys and girls to express and showcase their abilities, we are helping to create meaningful development pathways for our youth,” he revealed.
