Glitz and glamour shine at the 15th Zimbabwe Achievers Awards in the UK
BIRMINGHAM – The prestigious 15th edition of the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards UK (ZAA UK) lit up Birmingham with a spectacular evening of celebration, elegance, and inspiration.
Hosted at the luxurious 5-star Grand Hotel, the event brought together trailblazers from the Zimbabwean diaspora for a night that truly embodied excellence and unity.
Ultra Healthcare, part of the GMT Network, proudly headlined the event as the main sponsor, alongside esteemed partners Diaspora Insurance, Mukuru, and Remitly.

Guests were also treated to dynamic exhibitions from forward-thinking businesses including Shanyai World, Just Mortgages, Eaglemat Insurance Brokers, and TechIT AppIT, highlighting services and innovations for the global Zimbabwean community.
A Night of Excellence and Inspiration
Hosted by the charismatic and comedic King Kandoro, the evening was filled with laughter, inspiration, and powerful stories.

A highlight of the night was the keynote address by Jeff Madzingo, who shared his compelling journey from rural Zimbabwe to building a multimillion-pound business empire in the UK. His speech resonated deeply, celebrating perseverance and vision.
A touching tribute came from Conrad Mwanza Jr., who honoured his father’s enduring legacy while spotlighting the future of ZAA and the diaspora’s critical role in shaping Zimbabwe’s global narrative.

The Grand Hotel’s red carpet welcomed guests in stunning fashion, amplifying the glamour of an already dazzling evening.
Vision, Growth and the Future of ZAA
Global Chairman Dr. Ted Nyatanga reflected on ZAA’s 15-year journey and unveiled an exciting roadmap for global expansion, with upcoming editions confirmed in Canada, Australia, South Africa, and the UAE.

ZAA UK Director Ms. Tafadzwa Chinembiri closed the night with heartfelt thanks to sponsors, partners, and the organizing team. She also announced the 2025–2026 international awards calendar:
