COSAFA Cup fixtures released, Zimbabwe to play tournament opener against Mauritius

HARARE – The fixtures for the 2025 Men’s COSAFA Championship have been released, with Zimbabwe set to kick off the tournament against Mauritius on 4 June at 3pm.

On 7 June, the Warriors will face hosts South Africa in a highly anticipated clash, also scheduled for 3pm.

Zimbabwe will wrap up their group stage campaign against Mozambique on 10 June, with the match set for 6pm kick off.

The Zimbabwe Warriors were drawn in Group A alongside South Africa, Mauritius and Mozambique on Wednesday.

The regional tournament is scheduled to run from 4–15 June in Mangaung, Bloemfontein, South Africa.

Zimbabwe is seeking to reclaim the COSAFA Championship trophy for the first time since their last triumph in 2018.

Zimbabwe remains one of the most successful nations in the competition’s history, having won the title six times.

There are four groups, with the top team from each, advancing to the semi-finals.

Winner of Group A will face the top side from Group D, while Group B winner will take on the leading team from Group C.

All matches will broadcast live on SABC and SuperSpor and streamed globally on FIFA+.
