Dr Brian Monaisa confirms break-up with Minnie Dlamini, denies infidelity rumours

SOUTH AFRICA – Dr Brian Monaisa has confirmed that his relationship with South African media personality and actress Minnie Dlamini has come to an end, while denying that the two had broken up because of her infidelity.

The relationship between the pair has been under the spotlight over the last few months after they confirmed that they were romantically involved.

Dr Monaisa shared news of the split on social media on Monday, saying they called it quits on their romance under amicable terms, clearing the air around speculation of cheating.

“Ms Dlamini and I had a beautiful relationship, which sadly came to an end purely for personal reasons, which had nothing to do with infidelity by either party,” he said.

“Whilst our romantic relationship has come to an end, there remains mutual respect between Ms Dlamini and I.”

He further shared that the circulating rumour that Dlamini cheated on him is not true and described it as “malicious” and has the potential to taint Dlamini’s reputation.

“It’s not in my nature to entertain rumours. However, this specific rumour is malicious and has the potential to taint Ms Dlamini’s reputation in circumstances where rumours are devoid of any truth.

“It is for this reason that I deem it necessary to set the record straight,” he said.

The couple’s journey began under a shroud of mystery but became public knowledge in January when Monaisa posted loved-up snaps of them together on his Instagram stories.

The newfound romance soon faced controversy as Monaisa’s ex-girlfriend, Neema Aloyce, publicly accused Dlamini of wrecking her family on social media.

However, days later, Aloyce retracted her allegations, saying, “Even though she (Dlamini) was part and parcel of my betrayal, I should have been able to control how I dealt with the situation.”
