South African socialite Khanyi Mbau debuts ‘new face’ after another surgery

South African socialite and actress Khanyi Mbau found herself the object of much speculation again on Tuesday, after she appeared with her new face after undergoing a surgical procedure in October.

Mbau, who has not made a secret of the fact that she has gone under the knife several times in the past, debuted her face on the premiere of Meet the Khumalos in Durban.

The latest pictures of Mbau sparked a frenzy on social media, as fans unearthed old photos, comparing her looks from 2008 to 2025, with many criticising her for allegedly ruining her natural beauty and becoming unrecognizable.

Having started with a liposuction procedure in 2017, Mbau discussed skin bleaching in 2019, underwent a series of Botox fillers, thread lifts, veneers, two breast augmentations, the socialite in October opted for blepharoplasty, which is said to be a permanent fix.

Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure aimed at correcting defects, deformities and disfigurations of the eyelids, as well as to enhance the appearance of the eyelids.

It is often referred to as eyelid surgery and can involve the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both.

The actress went to Mono Clinic in Izmir, Turkey, to undergo the blepharoplasty procedure, which reduces bagginess from the lower eyelids and removes excess skin from the upper eyelids.
