HARARE – Domestic league trendsetters Scottland FC have introduced financial and medical benefits for their supporters.
This is after the club officially unveiled its partnerships with the Pan African Bank, Ecobank and Discovery Ambulances.
The newly established partnerships were unveiled on Wednesday afternoon at the club’s offices in Mhandara, Harare.
Present at the event were club president Pedzisayi ‘Scott’ Sakupwanya, chairman Tonderai ‘Pound’ Sakupwanya, and Chief Executive Officer Ronald ‘Romz’ Moyo and other executive members of the club.
Instead of offering their loyalty without rewards, the Sakupwanyas emphasised their commitment to ensuring fans earn tangible benefits for supporting the team.
“Fans must be valued. That’s why we gave CheMhofela and Boban Toyota Aquas, we wanted to show that fans are an integral part of the game. Without them, football is not the same,” said Scott Sakupwanya.
Echoing the same sentiment, Tonderai Sakupwanya added:
“Today, we want to redefine what it means to be a club member. We are taking a bold step in strengthening the bond between the club and supporters through the launch of our official membership program.
“In most cases, club membership does not come with real benefits. This initiative is not just about football, it’s about empowering our members with exclusive experiences, financial opportunities, and medical support.
“Whether you’re a die-hard Scottland supporter or a football fan from Caps United, Dynamos, or Highlanders, there’s a membership tier designed for you. This partnership is about building a lasting relationship with our supporters.”
The membership program is structured into five tiers, giving fans access to loans, medical coverage, and discounts on selected club products.
Through the Ecobank partnership, members can access bank loans ranging from US$1,000 to US$4,000, depending on their chosen membership level.
The Discovery Ambulances package offers 24-hour emergency response services, including air and road ambulance priority, a hospital cash plan, and funeral cover.
Additionally, Scottland FC officially unveiled its partnership with Booties Pharmacy, further expanding healthcare benefits for their members.
