Zimbabwean international forwards Prince Dube, Tawanda Chirewa and Bill Antonio delivered standout performances for their respective clubs over the weekend.
Dube starred for Young Africans in the NBC Tanzania Premier League on Friday, scoring and providing an assist in their convincing 6-1 victory over KMC.
Chirewa impressed once again for Huddersfield Town, earning the club’s AbsaBetterWay Player of the Match award after their 2-1 victory over Barnsley in the English League One on Saturday.
“Your AbsaBetterWay Player of the Match is Tawanda (Chirewa). Well played,” the club announced on X at the weekend after Chirewa was voted by the supporters.

This comes after he also received the same accolade during his debut last week in a goalless draw against Reading.
Meanwhile, former Dynamos winger Billy Antonio provided a crucial assist as KV Mechelen secured a 1-0 win over Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.
It was Antonio’s first goal contribution of the season after returning from a long-term knee injury that sidelined him for months.
The 22-year-old has made five appearances since his return last month.
