HARARE – Newly promoted Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Scottland FC have left Zimbabwe for Zambia on a two-week pre-season tour as they prepare for the 2025 season which is set to kick start next month.
During their stay in Zambia, the Mabvuku based club will face several top teams, with fixtures yet to be confirmed.
The preseason camp will provide head coach Tonderai Ndiraya with an opportunity to fine-tune his squad ahead of the upcoming PSL campaign.
This follows his recent trip to Turkey, where he participated in a capacity building exercise with Turkish Division One side Kocaelispor under the mentorship of legendary coach Ertuğrul Sağlam.
Ndiraya, who led Simba Bhora to the championship last season, is eager to make an impact with Scottland FC who are owned by businessman Scott Sakupwanya.
“My hope is that we have a successful maiden season,” Stanza, as he is nicknamed, told the club’s media department on his unveiling.
“I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead such a renowned brand.”
Scottland are set to face Triangle United in their opening match of the season.
