KADOMA – Yadah FC owner and football enthusiast Prophet Walter Magaya has partnered with the Kadoma City Council to renovate Rimuka Stadium.
During a visit to the venue on Tuesday, Magaya said he is dedicated to improve the sports infrastructure which is said to have last hosted top flight football in 2008.
“We are partnering with the Kadoma City Council to revamp Rimuka Stadium and ensure it meets the required standards set by football authorities,” said Magaya.
“As the Heart Group, we are fully committed to this project and ready to begin renovations as early as tomorrow.”
Magaya also highlighted he is working hand in glove with the newly elected ZIFA president Nqobile Magwizi to improve the football infrastructure in the country.
“I’m working closely with the new ZIFA president. My visit to Rimuka Stadium has his full support because I informed him of my plans for this project,” Magaya added.
Following his visit to Rimuka, Magaya proceeded to inspect progress at Chahwanda Stadium (Heart Main) in Kwekwe, a new sports facility under construction, where development is progressing well.
