Italian Serie A giants AS Roma reportedly monitoring Udinese’s Jordan Zemura

Zimbabwe international defender Jordan Zemura is reportedly attracting interest from Italia Serie A giants AS Roma.

Reports from Italy suggest the 25-year old is considered “a back-up option” for Roma’s recently signed Jose Angel Esmoris Tasende, also known as Angelino.

The Spanish left back arrived at Roma in the summer and “has had to feature in every game this season due to lack of valid alternatives on the bench”.

The Romapress reports that: “The Giallorossi (Roma) have reportedly started monitoring the 25-year-old who has so far collected 1 goal and 2 assists in 16 matches for the Bianconeri (Udinese).”

Apart from As Roma, Zemura was linked with a move to AC Milan in December.

The roving left back has attracted interest from Italian big club since arriving in Italy in April 2023 when he signed for Udinese on a four-year-deal valid until June 2027.

Zemura joined Udinese after refusing to enter into negotiations with Bournemouth over a new deal.
