Wanted since 2017… Controversial socialite Malloti speaks on SAPS list
Controversial socialite Malloti has responded to allegations that she has been on a South African Police Services (SAPS) wanted list since 2017, cryptically suggesting that whatever happened was in the past.
According to SAPS records, a warrant of arrest for one Namatai Bhobho was issued on January 19, 2018, at the Wynberg Magistrate Court in South Africa. The warrant requires her to be arrested and brought before the court on charges of armed robbery.
A picture by the police service led Zimbabweans to suggest that the woman who is wanted is Malloti, as they share a striking resemblance.
Posting on social media, Malloti, an ex-girlfriend to Zimdancehall singer Hwinza, appeared to suggest that she was unaffected by the speculation as the incident was in her past.
“You can’t blame my past nomore I came from the trenches but through God’s Grace, TAKAIPFUURA,” she shared in a post that was was accompanied by the song “All My Life” by Lil Durk featuring J. Cole.
Fellow socialite Evidence Chihera has alleged that Malloti was part of a gang that robbed and killed a white South African while she was in that country. Malloti then allegedly came back to Zimbabwe to flee justice.
“Malloti was part of a group that stole from and assaulted the man. While others were arrested and sentenced, she escaped back to Zimbabwe,” Chihera claimed.
