Popularly known as ‘The Undertaker,’ Mwaruwari submitted his nomination papers at the ZIFA offices in Harare ahead of Wednesday’s deadline.

On the list of interested candidates who have submitted their nomination papers so far, Mwaruwari is the only former footballer, intending to vie for the vacant ZIFA top post.

Outspoken former Norton Member of Parliament, Temba Mliswa also submitted his nomination papers for the upcoming ZIFA elections scheduled for 25 January 2025 at Rainbow Towers in Harare.
