Aspiring Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) presidential candidates, Nqobile Magwizi and Marshall Gore, have officially submitted their nomination papers for the highly anticipated elections scheduled for next month.
Magwizi submitted his documents via courier, while Gore personally delivered his at the ZIFA offices, Nehanda Radio has learned.
The nomination process, which began last Monday, is set to close on the 11th of December 2024.

The ZIFA elections will take place on the 25th of January 2025 at the Rainbow Towers in Harare.
In addition to Magwizi and Gore, reports indicate seven other contenders are vying for the presidency.
These include Prophet Walter Magaya, Temba Mliswa, Philemon Machana, Martin Kweza, Farai Jere, Twine Phiri, and Gilbert Muponda.
For the male vice presidency, the Premier Soccer League boss Kenny Ndebele, Omega Sibanda, Peter Dube, Gift Banda, and Modern Ngwenya, reportedly submitted their papers.
For the female vice presidency, Mavis Gumbo, Joyce Kapota, Patience Mutumwa, Winnet Muropa, Nyasha Kadenge, and Loveness Mukura are said to have submitted their papers.
A total of eleven ZIFA executive body positions will be contested in the upcoming elections.
