Billiat reportedly set to join Scottland; bids farewell to Yadah teammates
Former Kaizer Chiefs talisman Khama Billiat is reportedly set for a move to newly promoted Premier Soccer League (PSL) side, Scottland FC.
The Zimbabwe national team star who returned home earlier this year after a lengthy period in South Africa, has been plying his trade for Yadah FC.
Billiat joined Yadah at the start of the year as a free agent after parting ways with South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Speaking after their season finale against Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium last week, the former Ajax Cape Town and Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielder said:
“I just want to thank everyone, from the technical team, kit managers, players and all the staff members. I wish you all the best,” Billiat said.
Billiat’s decision to join Scottland is reportedly influenced by his strong relationship with the club’s owner, Pedzisai ‘Scott’ Sakupwanya.
The move to Scottland will reunite Billiat with his former teammate at Yadah, King Nadolo, who is also reportedly backed by Sakupwanya.
Nadolo, the former Dynamos, Highlanders and Telone forward left the Miracle Boys during the mid season.
