Musician Andy Muridzo has denied reports that his marriage to Rumbidzayi Mwabvu is on the rocks due his alleged infidelity and failure to provide for his family.
According to sources that spoke to the H-Metro tabloid, their marriage is on the rocks due to his failure to provide for his family and explicit love messages that were found on his phone to another woman.
“Haaa, Andy’s marriage to Mai Simbiso is on the rocks and they have parted ways. Andy needs serious spiritual help because his marriages are always failing,” said a source who spoke the paper.
When contacted for comment Mwabvu, who is reported to have been bragging about her status as the family’s breadwinner, refused to shed more light on the state of her marriage.
“Siyanai neni mazvinzwa, hamuna number dza Andy wacho here, mufonereika. Write what you have been told and I have no comment to such allegations.
“Stop calling me as well as sending me your questions on my mobile phone. I have already captured your sent messages to me.”
Muridzo’s ex-wife Chido Manyange, who the musician was in legal battle for the custody of their children recently, said she was unaware that her ex’s marriage had come to and end:

“Stop calling me as well as sending me your questions on my mobile phone. I have already captured your sent messages to me.”
Muridzo initially refused to speak to the paper before granting them an interview a day later.
“I just wanted to live a quiet life and did not want my private life to go public for the sake of my children as well as my music.
“I didn’t want to answer but hey apa H-Metro mandihwinha uye munogara makandihwinha ndinovimba kuti mafara nezvirikutaurwa nevaverengi venyu.
“The truth is that I never separated with Mai Simbiso, it’s only people who have bitterness with my life who are spreading falsehoods.
“Tiritese naMai Simbiso, I am on the way from Beitbridge otherwise I could have met you for further details.”
