South African media personality Sizwe Dhlomo has reignited his long standing feud with businessman and motivational speaker Vusi Thembekwayo, with the pair taking jabs at each other on social media.
The beef between the two started in 2017 when Dhlomo shared his insight on the taxi industry and how taxi owners make money. Not long after, Thembekwayo went live on Facebook and allegedly presented Dhlomo’s theory as his.
This prompted a response from Dhlomo, who accused Thembekwayo of being a fraud. The businessman then hit back with a video in which he castigated Dhlomo for failing to reach out to him in a mature manner and behaving like a little girl.
Earlier this week, Thembekwayo came under Dhlomo’s crosshairs again after a post in which he was correcting a podcaster about his luxurious car.
“If people with real money ever decided to actually ‘flex’ their money, the internet would lose its mind!
“Some of us are too focused on the impact of our work, teaching new business leaders across Africa how to scale their businesses and building generational wealth in the process. By the way, it’s Aston bafo. Not Austin,” wrote the businessman.
In response, Dhlomo reminded Thembekwayo that he had reportedly once showed off a fake watch.
“This is what happened the last time you ‘tried to flex’,” said Dhlomo, attaching old screenshots of Thembekwayo’s watch.
The latest jabs from Dhlomo has prompted allegations that he is obsessed with Thembekwayo, with some going as far as to say he is bullying the businessman.
