Zimbabwean international Tawanda Maswanhise continued his impressive form for Motherwell, playing a pivotal role in their 2-1 home victory over St Johnstone on Saturday.
The 21-year-old winger opened the scoring in the 20th minute before providing an assist for Tom Sparrow to double the lead just 14 minutes later.
The goal and the assist follows his brace when they defeated Dundee United 2-1 the previous week.
Since joining Motherwell on a short-term deal in August, Maswanhise is slowly adapting to the Scottish league.
So far, he has scored three goals and provided many assists, and this has seen him establish himself as a key player for Motherwell.
Maswanhise joined Motherwell in August on a short term deal until January before penning a new deal set to expire in August 2026.
The Warriors winger joined Motherwell from Leicester City, after leaving the English Premier League outfit that he had spent 12 years with.
Maswanhise is part of the 23-man Warriors squad that was selected last week by coach Michael Nees ahead of the crucial AFCON qualifiers.
Zimbabwe will play Kenya on Friday in a match they need only one point to qualify for the AFCON finals set for Morocco in December 2025.
They will then travel to Cameroon to play the Indomitable Lions next week Tuesday.
