Socialite Olinda Chapel has opened a fresh chapter in the long running saga with her husband, Tytan, accusing the musician of depriving her of access to her daughter while manipulating her for money.
The two have had a rocky marriage, which culminated in a divorce in 2019, after Olinda claimed Tytan had only joined the union with her only to get British citizenship.
The pair reconciled and remarried in July 2020, but Olinda publicly confirmed the end of their marriage again in June 2024, stating that she had decided to walk out of the marriage. She hinted at infidelity and witchcraft as the reason for their breakup.
Last year, Olinda came under public scrutiny for openly flirting with her ex-husband, rapper Stunner.
In a post on Facebook, Olinda accused Tytan of weaponising their child in order to force her to stay home and not go to work.
“It’s quite sad that people don’t see how men use kids as weapons. Ndafamba nebasa. And everyone can see kuti ndiri kushandira vana vangu. Ba Nandi then blocks me from having contact with my daughter because he simply just hates me.
“I am so heartbroken that I don’t have access to my daughter right now. Just a way to manipulate me to be at home and not work,” she wrote.
Sharing screenshots which showed her failed attempts to call her daughter, Olinda accused Tytan of being abusive.
“I am not even calling his phone but her iPad. And I am blocked on the same iPad I bought to communicate with her. This is just abusive and heartbreaking. You are not depriving me of my daughter, but you are depriving my daughter of her mother,” she said.
In comments under the same post, Olinda alleged that Tytan had been manipulating her for money.
“He said he wanted to leave the UK as he has failed and has accrued too many debts. I said fine, go, but why can’t you find a job like everyone else and provide for your child. But hey, again, it was just manipulation so that I give him money.”
