Flamboyant Zimbabwean businessman Trevor Simbarashe Mbizvo has been charged with rape and fraud after he allegedly forged his HIV medical certificate and exposed his South African girlfriend, Laisy Ramokone, to the incurable disease.

The businessman, who is popularly known as Hell Commander, has become a popular figure on social media where he regularly flaunts some of his vehicles that includes a Mercedes G Wagon, Lamborghini, BMW and a Ferrari F8.

Despite an attempt by the socialite’s legal representatives to have the case struck off the roll, South Africa’s National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) informed him that he will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on November 7 to face charges of rape and fraud.

In her memoir, Love Ego and Hitman, Ramokone detailed how she had been deceived by Hell Commander after she had agreed to go on a holiday with him and have unprotected sex.

“Later in the evening, he sent me a photo of an HIV certificate with a non-reactive status and HIV 20 on 13 January 2021, while the report had been dated 12 January 2021. I sent him a WhatsApp message, and I calmly objected to the certificate, saying it did not look legit.

“Stunned by this act of desperation on his side, I felt the need to pick up a phone and call and ask one of the doctors I knew and trusted to compare our results.

“That doctor told me right away the certificate was not legit and that in 2021 they no longer tested HIV-1 but HIV Elisa 1 and HIV-Elisa 2 antibodies.”

Ramokane revealed that during one sexual encounter, the businessman had removed his condom, and told her not to worry because he was HIV negative.

Afterwards, she said, he disappeared and did not take her phone calls. She then began the painful process of taking anti-retroviral drugs to prevent possible HIV infection before opening a case against him at Wierdabrug Police Station in Centurion.

Ramokone also claimed that she had survived assassination attempts from men who she believed were sent by the businessman. She had been hospitalised after one such attack.

She also claimed she was a victim of some cyber attacks.

“Listening devices were installed, and flying drones were seen flying over her house,” she said.
