Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo has pledged to buy a Toyota Aqua each for Scottland FC players if they beat Herentals U-20s in their quest to secure top flight league promotion.
Scottland are owned by Chivayo’s associate Scott Sakupwanya who has expressed his desire to see his team play in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) next season.
Chivayo promised the Scottland players the vehicles after their 3-1 win over Harare City at the weekend.
“If you beat Herentals (next match) everyone will get an Aqua,” said Chivayo as quoted by the club.
Initially, he gave five players Aquas for the Harare City victory.
He assigned his close friend and businessman Fally Ipupa (Junior) to identify the five players that performed well to be given the vehicles.
Scottland are one point behind log leaders Mwos with two games left in the season.
