“Desmond and I are NOT in a relationship” – Olinda denies Stunner marriage rumours

LONDON – Controversial socialite Olinda Chapel has rubbished rumours that she is now married to rapper Desmond ‘Stunner’ Chideme, saying that she is still legally in a union with Tytan Nkomo.

Social media rumours suggested that Olinda had run back into the arms of her ex-husband, Stunner, after reportedly breaking things off with Tytan.

Olinda and Tytan were married in 2018 before they separated in August 2019. The couple later renewed their vows in the Fairview Hotel, Windsor, UK, in July 2022 but spent most of 2023 in the headlines, amid rumours that they were headed for divorce.

In a post on social media, Olinda denied that she was in a relationship with Stunner, refuting allegations that the two had got married in Greece.

“I saw a video stating that I was to be married in Greece to Desmond (Stunner). That I have lost my “mind” because he couldn’t make it to Greece. Just to set the record straight and that there is no confusion created by delusional people. Desmond and I are NOT in a relationship.

“There was never a Greece wedding. I am still very much legally married to Ba Nandi. As you have all witnessed of late I keep myself to myself. I am not out here starting drama, looking for drama or wanting to be part of drama. Let’s keep it that way,” she posted.

Eyebrows were raised last year, as Olinda and Stunner shared several seemingly romantic interactions on social media, even though the two had a controversial and abusive relationship that ended with a messy divorce in 2017.

The flirtatious relationship between the two reached a new level during Olinda’s celebrated 40th birthday celebration, with Stunner making the bill as one the performers on the night.

The rapper went on to serenade his ex-wife with a specially dedicated performance, while also gifting her a bouquet of red roses.

So in other words there are chances of divorce by saying we are still legally in union, whereas she was supposed to say we will forever be together till death do us part. Why leave room for divorce 🤷‍♂️
