UNITED STATES – Zimbabwe Warriors centre back Teenage Hadebe has said “I look forward to give my all to fight for this club” following his recent move to the Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit FC Cincinnati.
The 28-year-old was unveiled by Cincy on Tuesday after joining the club as a free agent on an undisclosed deal.
Speaking to the club’s media, Hadebe who expressed his delight after joining Cincinnati, marking his return to the US after parting ways with Houston Dynamo in December 2023, said:
“I’m so happy to join FC Cincinnati. I look forward to giving my all to fight for this club as we look to achieve our goals this season,” the club posted.
Known for his strong connection with fans, Hadebe is looking forward to meeting the Cincinnati supporters at their homeground the TQL Stadium.
“I’m excited to join up with the team and meet the fans at TQL stadium soon,” added the ex-Kaizer Chiefs man.
FC Cincinnati who play in the Eastern Conference of the MLS, are currently second on the log table with 48 points after 26 games played so far.
They are eight points behind current log leaders Inter Miami who are home to Lionel Messi as well as Luis Suarez.
